Michael Kriozere, Principal
Michael Kriozere, co-founder of Urban Pacific Development, LLC, has developed more than $1 billion of multifamily high-rises and garden-style buildings, as well as commercial and office projects throughout the Midwest and California since 1965. A real estate changemaker, he pioneered new developments in urban neighborhoods and sparked their transformation.
Michael’s signature devlopment in San Francisco, if not the west coast, is One Rincon Hill, the iconic high-rise residential tower that catalyzed the formation of new vertical neighborhoods in San Francisco’s South of Market District. One Rincon Hill has received awards from the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco Business Times, International Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, American Council of Engineering Companies, Civil Engineering Forum for Innovation, California Construction Journal, and Sales and Marketing Council, and was featured on the cover of Architectural Record.
Michael’s other notable California developments include One Embarcadero South in San Francisco and award-winning CityFront Terrace in San Diego. Prior to starting Urban Pacific and its precursor Urban West Associates of San Diego, he was associated with KLC Venture (Philip Klutznick, former U.S. Secretary of Commerce; Ferd Kramer, late CEO of Draper & Kramer; and Lester Crown, former CEO of General Dynamics), Jupiter Corp. (Jerrold Wexler and Edward Ross), Centex Corp., Arthur Rubloff, McHugh-Levin, Burnham Development Company, and ABI Development Company.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an Illinois Real Estate Broker License.
