Michael Kriozere, Principal

Michael Kriozere, co-founder of Urban Pacific Development, LLC, has developed more than $1 billion of multifamily high-rises and garden-style buildings, as well as commercial and office projects throughout the Midwest and California since 1965. A real estate changemaker, he pioneered new developments in urban neighborhoods and sparked their transformation.

Michael’s signature devlopment in San Francisco, if not the west coast, is One Rincon Hill, the iconic high-rise residential tower that catalyzed the formation of new vertical neighborhoods in San Francisco’s South of Market District. One Rincon Hill has received awards from the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco Business Times, International Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, American Council of Engineering Companies, Civil Engineering Forum for Innovation, California Construction Journal, and Sales and Marketing Council, and was featured on the cover of Architectural Record. 

Michael’s other notable California developments include One Embarcadero South in San Francisco and award-winning CityFront Terrace in San Diego. Prior to starting Urban Pacific and its precursor Urban West Associates of San Diego, he was associated with KLC Venture (Philip Klutznick, former U.S. Secretary of Commerce; Ferd Kramer, late CEO of Draper & Kramer; and Lester Crown, former CEO of General Dynamics), Jupiter Corp. (Jerrold Wexler and Edward Ross), Centex Corp., Arthur Rubloff, McHugh-Levin, Burnham Development Company, and ABI Development Company.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an Illinois Real Estate Broker License.

Chris Collins, Principal

Chris Collins, co-founder of Urban Pacific Development, LLC, oversees acquisition, design, development, construction, leasing, and asset management.Over the course of his 25-year professional career, Chris has been involved with more than 150 development projects, representing more than 15 million square feet of mixed-use, office, industrial, residential, and retail properties.

Chris began working with Mike Kriozere at One Rincon Hill as Project Director, with responsibility for all aspects of the development. Prior to One Rincon Hill, he worked for the San Francisco real estate firm Ellis Partners, where he was involved in a variety of projects including the design, entitlement, and project management for the $350 million mixed-use development at Jack London Square in Oakland. Prior to Ellis Partners, Chris worked for Hines, one of the largest private real estate firms in the world, where he managed a variety of high-profile development projects, including the $200 million JPMorganChase Tower in San Francisco and a 300,000-square-foot mixed-use component of Petco Park in San Diego. He was also responsible for design and construction activities at Hines-owned and -managed assets in Northern California, which at the time represented more than 10 million square feet of office space.

Chris is a graduate of Columbia University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. He is an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and San Francisco Planning and Urban Research (SPUR).

DAVID KRIOZERE, Development Partner

David Kriozere, Joint Venture Partner to Urban Pacific, specializes in housing development. Over the last two decades as a principal developer, joint venture partner, and development consultant, he has delivered 1,300 units of complex infill multifamily developments. 

David’s previous finance career includes developing $150M in new revenue strategies for Providian Financial’s credit card portfolio; serving as CFO to lead a start-up insurance company for Manipal Group in India; creating a $140M financial plan for Goodwill Industries; and developing new pricing products for Kaiser Permanente. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University, Master of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Chicago, Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations, as well as a California Real Estate Broker license.

LINDSAY MAUCELI, DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Lindsay Mauceli joined Urban Pacific in 2012 as a project manager consultant for the development of Tower Two at One Rincon Hill, a 298-unit luxury apartment building.  Her responsibilities included management of the design and construction process, and project finances. Throughout her 15-year professional career, Ms. Mauceli has managed complex tenant and capital improvements in high-rise buildings, as well as core and shell and interior construction for new developments. She has been involved in the design, development, construction, leasing, asset management and sale of numerous Bay Area projects, and has a history of demonstrating her skills working in the commercial real estate industry.

Prior to joining Urban Pacific, Ms. Mauceli was a construction manager at Hines, a privately owned global real estate investment firm, where she started as a construction assistant on the $200 million JP Morgan Chase Building in San Francisco. She was later promoted to construction manager, overseeing design and construction activities at Hines-owned and managed assets in the Bay Area. While at Hines, Ms. Mauceli was responsible for projects over $60 million in value. She worked closely with building tenants and management, as well as the development and leasing teams to achieve ownership’s investment goals. She has a proven track record for completing projects on time and on budget, while ensuring high quality work.

Ms. Mauceli is a LEED-accredited professional and obtained a Certificate in Construction Management from the University of California at Berkeley. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Urban Pacific also collaborates with experienced consultants, including Construction Analysts, Inc., for cost, schedule, and risk management expertise; and JD Consulting for building code and MEP consulting, as well as permit expediting services.
